Peanut Butter Cookies with a Crunch
A crunchy peanut butter cookie made with Frosted Mini Wheat Cereal

Ingredients

Cups of Flour

teaspoons
of baking powder
1/4
teaspoon
salt
1
cup
softened butter/margarine
1
cup
peanut butter
3/4
cup
sugar
3/4
cup
firmly packed brown sugar
2
eggs
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract

Kellog's Frosted Mini Wheat crushed to a fine shreds
Instructions
Stir together flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl
In another bowl beat butter, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy
Add eggs and vanilla
Mix in flour mixture and crushed cereal
Drop by level measuring tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets
Using a fork, flatten each cookie in crisscross pattern
Bake at 350 degrees F, 14 minutes or until lightly browned
Remove immediately from baking sheets
Cool on wire racks
