Italian Pepper Steak
Steak, peppers, onions and tomatoes

Ingredients
1 1/2
lbs
steak stir fry or sliced sirloin
1/4
cup
of olive oil
small can of diced or stewed tomatoes
8 oz
1
large green Italian frying pepper sliced
a.k.a. cubanelle
1
large red bell pepper sliced
1/2
large onion sliced
3
cloves
garliccrushed
1 1/2
cups
beef stock or water
2
tsp
Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper for seasoning
Instructions
Meat
Heat olive oil in a fry pan
add seasoned meat to pan with garlic
when browned add the worcestishire sauce
mix to combine
add peppers and onions and sauté until lightly browned
then add tomatoes with out juice
combine well and bring to a simmer then add remaining liquids
Add a handful of chopped parsley
Option A
Cover slightly and cook on low for an hour
Option B
transfer to a crockpot and cook on low for another 4 hours
Serve over orzo pasta or rice
Notes
Try to cut all the ingredients the same size so they cook more evenly (peppers,onions and steak if not already sliced).
