Prepare steaks by rubbing them with garlic slices (cut side down).
Mix together herbs,olive oil, salt and pepper. Take 2/3 rds of the mixture and place in a shallow dish. Set aside the remaining oil herb mixture aside to use after the steaks are cooked.
When steaks have come to room temperature (after about 10 minutes) place then on the hot grill. Cook steaks 3-5 minutes per side (depending desired doneness). Remove from grill and place on a platter. Brush on the remaining reserved oil and herb mixture on both sides and serve.
Notes
Optional: Squeeze juice from lemons over each steak.
