Greek Yogurt Marinated Chicken

Greek yogurt marinated chicken made with lemon, garlic, honey and a pop of Auntie Nono's Firecracker Sea Salt.

Ingredients
  

  • 8-10 pieces Chicken Legs and Thighs
  • 1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt 2% or more
  • 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 Lemons, zested and Juiced first zest and then juice the lemons
  • 1 tbsp Firecracker Sea Salt
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • Pinch Kosher
  • 4 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • Package Fresh Oregano
  • Extra Lemons optional

Instructions
 

  • First, in a bowl combine yogurt, olive oil, seasonings, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest honey, firecracker sea salt, and oregano. Mix together.
  • Add the chicken to the bowl and coat well. Cover and refrigerate anywhere from 30 minutes up to 4 hours.
  • When the chicken is done marinating,remove from the refrigerator and pre-heat oven to 400 degrees f.
  • Place chicken pieces onto a greased baking sheet. Let sit for 30 mins before placing into the oven.
  • Bake chicken anywhere from 30-45 minutes (or until chicken reaches 165 degrees fahrenheit). Plate and serve with fresh lemon wedges and oregano.
