Acorn Kisses
This is a fun fall treat made with vanilla wafers and chocolate kisses.
- 1 Box Mini Vanilla Wafers
- 1 Bag Chocolate Kisses
- 1 Bag Milk Chocolate Chip Morsels
- 1 Bag Butterscotch Morsels
Set out all your ingredients before beginning have a tray or baking sheet available to lay the completed acorn kisses onto.
Pour 1/2 cup of the chocolate morsels into a microwave safe bowl.Pour 1/2 cup of butterscotch morsels into a separate microwave safe bowl. Reserve an additional 1/4 cup of butterscotch morsels for the top of your acorns. Using you favorite melting technique, melt the chocolate and then butterscotch chips. Using a small knife or spoon - I use a lollipop stick - dollop the tiniest amount of chocolate on the flat side of the vanilla wafer, then sandwich it together with the flat side of the chocolate kiss.
Flip over, dollop another tiny amount of the melted butterscotch onto the rounded part of the vanilla wafer and top it with a piece of the butterscotch morsel - flat side down. Set aside to set and repeat steps 3 and 4.
