Hey y’all! It’s #TipTuesday and here’s one that I can’t wait to share…. Crockpot (slow-cooker) Baked Potatoes.
Did you know you could make a baked potato right in your crockpot? Is this not the coolest Baked Potato idea ev-e-rrr ! I wish I could say this is my original, idea but I found it nestled inside of my local supermarket coupon booklet. Yep, right there under the flap. I know I keep saying this, but it’s true, I find the best recipes and ideas in my supermarket flyers.
All you need to do is scrub your potatoes, dry them, pierce them with a fork, season them, and wrap tightly with foil. Place them in your crockpot, without overlapping. Turn the setting to low and after about 3-4 hours, voila!!
Hope you enjoy this tip of the day!
Crockpot Baked Potatoes
Ingredients
- 6 medium russet potatoes more if you can fit them
- Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions
- Scrub and dry as many potatoes that will fit inside your crockpot without overlapping. Pierce each potato with a fork. I poked mine all over. Wrap each potato tightly in aluminum foil with salt, pepper and olive oil. Cook 4 hours on low.
- Serve with your favorite toppings.
Notes
I used 6 same sized medium russet potatoes.
You can use Sweet Potatoes.
