Easy Tacos Alembre

Tacos de Almebre Inspiration

Inspired by a delicious meal at Epcot's World Showcase during a Disney trip a few summers ago, I created this Easy Tacos Alambre recipe. With just a hint of chili and lime, these tacos-made with pre-sliced shaved steak, smoky bacon, peppers, and melty cheese-make the perfect weeknight one-pan meal.

Tacos Alambre

Truth be told, my family is a bunch of picky eaters, so where we dine out is usually predictable. Imagine the  challenge when we go on vacation!

Before that Disney trip, I painstakingly researched restaurants and menus; it was an absolute necessity given my family's finicky tastes. La Hacienda San Angel in Epcot's Mexico came recommended, and when I checked out the menu, it seemed like they had something for everyone.

After a long summer day in Epcot, we finally arrived at the restaurant, which was directly across from the Aztec Pyramid.  I am happy to report everyone was happy with my choice, but honestly, I think I was the happiest with my meal.

After some research, I developed a quick and easy "Cheftini-style" weeknight version. The secret is the shaved steak hack, which saves so much prep time.
