Happy Mother's Day! 

Here's my Mother's Day treat to me ( and to you) ....Cheers! 

I'm calling it the Passion Tea Lemontini

I love this drink because it combines all my favorites, especially during summer, Passion Tea, Pink Lemonade, and Vodka.   I purchased the Tazo Passion Tea at Starbucks (they come 6 in a pack). It was so easy to make, I boiled the water and steeped the bag for 5 minutes - that was it.  I purchased the lemonade concentrate from my local supermarket in the freezer section and prepared according to the instructions.

I normally would've garnished this with mint leaves and raspberry but the market was out. So, here in my photo I used Blackberries instead.

You could also substitute Tequila for the Vodka and of course you could make this Alcohol free and just enjoy a nice cold Iced Passion Tea Lemonade! Serve chilled and/or with crushed ice. 

I thought it was simple to make, really good and perfect for the summer....here's the recipe, enjoy! 

Warning: Sip slow - it packs a punch! 

Passion Tea Lemontini

Cocktail with Passion Tea, pink lemonade and vodka

Ingredients

  

• 1 Bag of Tazo Passion Tea prepared per package instructions
• 1 16 oz can of Pink Lemonade Concentarate
• 8 oz of Vodka

Instructions

 

• Prepare tea as per package - steep for 5 minutes
• Prepare Lemonade as per instructions
• Combine and shake vigorously
• Add the vodka and refrigerate for at least 1 hour
• Serve chilled

Notes

These portions made about 64 oz -

OPTIONAL:
Add Mint leaves and raspberry
Use a different liquor or omit liquor for a nice Summer Tea Lemonade
