Crunchy Peanut Butter cookies by Kellog’s
Peanut Butter Cookies with a Crunch
A crunchy peanut butter cookie made with Frosted Mini Wheat Cereal
Ingredients
- 2 Cups of Flour
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup softened butter/margarine
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 20 Kellog's Frosted Mini Wheat crushed to a fine shreds
Instructions
- Stir together flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl
- In another bowl beat butter, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy
- Add eggs and vanilla
- Mix in flour mixture and crushed cereal
- Drop by level measuring tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets
- Using a fork, flatten each cookie in crisscross pattern
- Bake at 350 degrees F, 14 minutes or until lightly browned
- Remove immediately from baking sheets
- Cool on wire racks
