Tacos de Almebre Inspiration

Inspired by a delicious meal at a Mexican restaurant in Epcot World during a Disney Trip a few summers ago, I created this Easy Tacos Alambre recipe. With just a hint of chili and lime, these tacos, made with pre-sliced shaved steak, smoky bacon, peppers, and melty cheese make the perfect weeknight one pan meal.

Tacos Alambre

Truth be told, my family is a bunch of picky eaters, so where we dine out is usually predictable. Imagine the  challenge when we go on vacation!

Before a Disney trip a few years ago, I painstakingly researched restaurants and menus, an absolute necessity given my family’s finicky tastes. La Hacienda San Angel in Epcot came recommended so when I checked out the menu it seemed like they had something for everyone.

After a long summer day in Epcot, we finally arrived at the restaurant, which was directly across from the Aztec Pyramid in Mexico, and I am happy to report everyone was happy with my choice.

What do I need to make Tacos Alambre at home

Honestly, I think I was the happiest with my meal, Tacos Alambre. Despite not being a Mexican food expert, I consider myself picky-ish, this dish was exceptional. I couldn’t stop raving about it so I knew I had to recreate it when I got home.

After some research, I developed a quick and easy Cheftini-style, weeknight version. Here is what you’ll need to make my version:
