As we approach the New Year we often resolve for a healthier lifestyle.  More often than not these resolutions just don't last. I for one go in 100% committed but often feel like I try an make these drastic changes that are just not realistic. This year I am actually resolving not to make any resolutions. Instead, I am going to take baby steps towards changes that I want to make in my daily life. I am hoping that this will keep my goals both manageable and successful!

One of the small changes I have been making in my daily life has been food swapping. While I still love my mashed potatoes and chicken cutlets, I have been making minor changes to my weekly diet, like using whole wheat breadcrumbs and pasta.

I recently had Toni Marinucci, registered dietician and Nutrition Blogger behind Tips with Toni, on Cheftini's Kitchen.  Toni and I  talked about how making these small maintainable changes to our everyday lives is the best way to make our goals stick.  One of those changes was, making healthy swaps. One of Toni's swaps was swapping in Greek Yogurt for dips.

Toni shared with us this flavorful and healthy Greek Yogurt Dip made with Dill and Lemon Juice. This dip is non fat and full of flavor.  It goes perfect with your favorite crudite platter but I bet a few dollops of this would go a long way on your favorite chicken or fish dish too.

Here's to a great year ahead filled with great tasting food!

You can watch this segment with Toni and I HERE.
