It's friday, it's fall and it's been a long week so why not try this fun Candy Corn Cocktail over the weekend or at your next ADULT Halloween Party.

 CandyCornMartini1

Just steep candy corn in your favorite Vodka for at least 4 hours.  Keep in mind the longer you steep the sweeter it will be. I steeped mine for 24 hours in sealed mason jar and kept it in the refrigerator. Who knew Candy Corn could be sooo much fun?!

Here's what you need to do:

NOTE: I found this brilliant idea on the Betty Crocker website and followed the directions exactly.  While I am sharing the exact recipe above I think the drink was a bit strong for my liking, so here are some tips I found helpful:

  • use ¼ less juice and substitute it with ¼ cup of club soda or ginger ale.
  • add a squeeze of lemon juice.

One more tip: I used orange crystallized sugar to decorate the rim of the glasses. Put a little sugar on a flat dish, wet the rim of the glass and then invert the top of the glass into the sugar to coat. You might have to turn the stem a few times to cover the whole rim.
