Is it me or does time just seem to fly by? I can not believe we are in December and just weeks away from all the winter holidays! I for one do not love winter, but I do love the holidays, gift giving and ALL that good food it usually brings. And lucky for me, Christmas came a little early this year as I recently became the proud new owner of the NEW Veggie Bullet courtesy of my friends at NutriLiving and #Foodiechats. I mean what better timing for me, right?! Sweet!
If you don’t know what a VEGGIE BULLET is …. no worries – I’m gonna tell you all about it! So the Veggie Bullet is 3 in 1 processor that in the push of a button, shred, slices and spiralizes food in seconds. It also shreds and slices too, eliminating that long tedious process of hand shredding and chopping. AND for you spiral vegetable lovers, there’s no more twisting and turning out all those zucchini noodles.
The thing I love most about this machine is that it makes eating healthier food easier by doing all the prep work for you. It slices, it shreds and spirals all your favorite foods in no time! Now that’s my kind of kitchen helper. It’s like having your own little magical elf right in the kitchen.
With the holidays upon us this Veggie Bullet will definitely make a great gift for anyone that loves to cook. It retails for $149.00 and is available on NutriLiving.com, at Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond, Kohls and Target.
Now even though the Veggie bullet comes with an awesome recipe guide, here’s a great healthy-ish dip that you can make as soon as you get this little guy into your kitchen. It’s a Hazelnut Spinach Greek Yogurt Dip that’s both delicious and easy to make. It goes perfect with vegetables, pita chips or even little chunks of crusty Italian bread (yum!).
Not only does the veggie bullet chop the spinach in seconds, but you can put most of the ingredients from this recipe into the machine together and have your bowl full of greek yogurt waiting for it on the end. Then just add the lemon zest and juice give it a turn and top it with some toasted hazelnuts. It’s healthy, deliciousness that just takes minutes!
Now get to shopping (ehem… I mean chopping!). Enoy!
